Philosophy
Building a high-performing organization is both an art and a science.  Getting there begins with the belief that people are your most valuable asset and passionate people produce extraordinary results.  World-class organizations require a relentless pursuit of explicit and implicit best practices built from the following:
  • Organizations are structured to meet customer demands and people are deployed for ‘the right person in the right role at the right time’.
  • A healthy, mature leadership team inspires and moves people toward the vision of the organization never losing sight of delighting customers.
  • Individual accountability and performance is differentiated through leader-led performance management which is a ‘way of life’ rather than a yearly event.
  • Resources are used to meet changing business needs and high performers are recruited, recognized, rewarded and retained.
  • Individuals and teams collaborate effectively and seamlessly both within and across functions to achieve aligned goals.
  • The spirit of the organization is contagious because people are passionate about their contributions and excited about coming to work.
Underlying beliefs about people are also critical in moving an organization toward success:
  • Creating meaning and purpose is a basic human need which is often realized in the work setting.
  • Individual behavioral change begins and ends with personal accountability.  We are the sole architects of our experiences.
  • As humans we are equipped with a resilient human spirit evidenced in difficult times.  Our humor and overall perspective are means of accessing that spirit.
  • Leadership, leadership, leadership:  People want it and need it and know it. Nothing can replace a good leader.
  • Business transactions are made more productive through skilled dialogue where different perspectives create a better outcome.
  • An organization’s culture emanates from the executive leadership team yet front-line managers are the tipping point for lasting cultural change.
  • Trust in the organization and in each other is built through authenticity, positive regard and empathy.
  • For balanced, vibrant lives, people must renew themselves physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
