Experience
In 2000, Amy joined The Feld Group, a boutique IT reengineering consulting firm, as the leader of the Organizational Capability Practice.  She developed an integrated Human Resources and Organizational Effectiveness Model which focused on organizational structure, performance management, leadership development, talent management, team effectiveness and the spirit of the organization.  This model became a critical offering to The Feld Group clients.

As the Leader of the Organizational Capability practice, she partnered with The Feld Group CIO’s to lead the IT transformations for clients such as BMC, Coca-Cola Corporation, Federal Express, First Data Resources, Heidrick and Struggles, Interliant, IPG, ManPower, PwC, Southwest Airlines, and Wellpoint.
In 2004, The Feld Group was acquired by EDS.  While at EDS, Amy’s primary role was Senior Organizational Effectiveness Leader on the transformational team purposed to turn around the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) account.  NMCI is the world’s largest federal government IT contract.
At the end of 2007, Amy took an early retirement and restarted her practice as a People Strategist.  A few highlights include:
  • Assisting the COO of the YPO (Young Presidents’ Organization) after a global reorganization, Amy customized an executive leadership session focused on key aspects of Leading through Change.  She also facilitated a session for the YPO Board of Directors to surface functional challenges and conflicts in the new organization (2009).
  • Working with the CEO and VP of HR for Tandy Brands, Amy designed and delivered a strategic offsite for the Executive Operating Committee (2009).
  • Consulting to the President and COO of Tyler Technologies (Courts & Justice), Amy established the overall HR plan for the division.  She also created leadership competencies for Tyler Technologies, Inc. (2008 – present).
  • Partnering with the CPO of Molson Coors Brewing Company, Amy worked with the newly merged executive global HR team for the purpose of aligning them toward a healthy and cohesive senior leadership team (2009 – 2010).
  • Supporting the new president of Dell Services (Perot Systems), Amy facilitated the early meetings of the executive leadership team for the purpose of quickly pulling the team together (2011).

Amy Jones has worked with me on significant turnaround programs to create early adoption of change in order to drive business value.  This partnership has been in commercial, government and overseas arenas.  She is second to none in creating teams with a belief system of accountability and an entrepreneurial behavior so that all who are involved own the process and the outcome.

The level of energy, excitement and intelligence Amy brought to my teams was hugely motivational and allowed all of us to see the impact we could each have on the business.  This was a huge accomplishment each and every time!  Amy never left a project without creating long-lasting relationships and a following of people who not only learned from her but were able to re-use those learnings and teach others.

The bottom line is Amy is not only the consummate professional, but her energy and passion for what she does is absolutely contagious.  She holds herself and everyone she works with to a higher standard which always pays off.  She has created a following that only someone with integrity, trust and dedication can do..
